About Us
Jeff Stone
President/Magician
Jeff Stone has been performing magic under the title of Stone Cold Magic since the early 90s. Recently he has shifted focus to sharing his effects and his ridiculous sense of humor with fellow magicians.
This sharing has come in the form of local students and has now expanded to DVD. His recent appearance as a guest artist on Jay Sankey's Underground Jam has allowed him to share with magicians world-wide. The next several years are packed with many more projects to share even more magic, philosophy and rantings with fellow magicians.
With more than a 10 year background in sales and training sales people along with an equally lengthy career in technical writing and teaching, what better blend could you ask for to be your magic teacher. Add to these skills a logical and critical thinking skill-set that allows him to solve the Rubik's Cube in about 40 seconds, and you have a logical, entertaining extremely talented instructor passing along his hard-earned magic experience and knowledge.
Brad Gordon
Creative Consultant/Magical Genius
Brad Gordon is a well versed and well practiced magician and thinker. His experience ranges everywhere from children's shows, to stand up, close up, strolling, magic shop demo-ing, and more. As a creative consultant for Stone Cold Magic, Brad's fingerprints and thoughts are distributed throughout the site and products.
Bill Brough (Bruff)
Accountant
Bill Brough came to the world of ledgers and tax returns by an unlikely route, which he calls "my ricochet career." He majored in music and spent time as a songwriter in Los Angeles, even landing a spot on a production team for a Stevie Wonder spin-off called Writer's Quarters West.
To help make ends meet for his young family, Bill started a small business in 1988. "I envisioned doing it part time, and still keeping a foot in the music industry. But it quickly consumed all my time and energy, and I discovered-to my astonishment-that I enjoyed it."
Running a business required learning how to keep the books, which led to an MBA in finance and accounting. Bill now teaches bookkeeping and tax preparation at Universal Accounting Center, and maintains a small practice on the side, while still writing and recording music.
Clay Neves
Creative Consultant
Clay Neves is a professional presenter and trainer, developing and conducting hundreds of seminars each year nationwide and in Canada. He is a published poet and loves to sing Sinatra. He co-hosts a local talk radio show. He has learned from Jeff that he doesn't want to know how tricks are done.

Paul Budd
Advertising/Marketing Consultant
Paul Budd makes his home in East Texas with his wife and children. He works in the public school system there as a behavior specialist and is licensed as a social worker as well as a nursing home administrator.
Since he's mere hours away from his 40th birthday, he's decided that he pretty much wants to be a school psychologist when he grows up. He's an avid amateur magician and is the Ring Reporter for IBM Ring 266 in Tyler.
